MODULAR
SPREADER
FRAMES
Modular spreader frames for four-point lifting applications, combining Multisec corner units with the same interchangeable struts used throughout the Modular Spreader Beam range. Available in capacities up to 250 tonnes and frame spans up to 16 metres for offshore, infrastructure, industrial and heavy lifting projects
Built For Controlled Four-Point Lifting Operations
The Multisec Modular Spreader Frame is a modular lifting frame designed for heavy lifting applications where load stability, balanced load distribution and four-point lifting control are critical.
The system uses engineered Multisec corner points together with the same interchangeable modular struts used across the Multisec Modular Spreader Beam range, allowing a spreader frame to be configured for different lifting arrangements and load geometries.
Available with Working Load Limits up to 250 tonnes and frame spans up to 16 metres, the system provides a practical lifting frame solution for oversized loads, fabricated structures, offshore equipment and complex industrial lifting operations.

Four-Point Load Control
Distributes lifting forces across four lifting points to support wider, larger and more complex loads.
Modular Frame Configuration
Corner points and interchangeable modular struts allow frame geometry to be adapted for different lifting requirements.
Heavy-Lift Performance
Engineered for demanding offshore, marine, infrastructure and industrial lifting applications.
Modular Spreader
Frame Range
Choose from standard Modular Spreader Frame systems from 13 tonnes to 250 tonnes. Each model is selected by required frame span, Working Load Limit and sling-to-vertical angle.
One Modular System.
Multiple Frame Configurations.
The Multisec Modular Spreader Frame system combines engineered corner units with the same interchangeable modular struts used across the Modular Spreader Beam range. By selecting the required longitudinal and transverse strut combinations, lifting teams can create configurable four-point lifting frames for different spans, capacities and load geometries.

Corner Units
Four engineered corner units form the connection points of the modular lifting frame, with upper and lower lifting points for rigging arrangements.
Modular Struts
Longitudinal and transverse struts are selected to create the required frame dimensions using the same modular strut system as the Multisec beam range.
Configurable Geometry
Frame length and width can be configured to suit load dimensions, lifting centres and project-specific lifting requirements.

Fabricated Structures
Steel fabrications, assemblies and modules requiring stable four-point lifting.
Tanks & Vessels
Pressure vessels, storage tanks and process equipment where load stability is critical.
Offshore Equipment
Modules, skids and fabricated equipment used within offshore and marine environments.

Modular Spreader Frame FAQs
Answers to common questions about Modular Spreader Frames, four-point lifting arrangements, capacities, configurations and project requirements.
What is a Modular Spreader Frame?
A Modular Spreader Frame is a configurable four-point lifting frame designed to provide improved load stability and controlled load distribution. The system combines modular struts with dedicated corner units to create frame configurations suitable for a wide range of lifting applications.
When should a Modular Spreader Frame be used?
Modular Spreader Frames are commonly used when a conventional lifting beam arrangement is unsuitable due to load geometry, stability requirements or multiple lifting points. They are often selected for offshore equipment, fabricated structures, vessels, infrastructure components and other large or irregular loads.
What capacities are available?
The Multisec Modular Spreader Frame range is available in capacities from 13 tonnes up to 250 tonnes, with multiple frame configurations available depending on project requirements.
What frame spans are available?
Standard Modular Spreader Frame configurations provide spans up to 16 metres. Alternative frame dimensions can be reviewed by our engineering team for specific lifting applications.
Can Modular Spreader Frames be customised?
Yes. Modular Spreader Frames can be configured using different strut combinations and corner units to suit specific load dimensions, lifting centres and project requirements. Bespoke lifting arrangements can also be developed where required.
Are Modular Spreader Frames proof load tested?
Yes. Multisec Modular Spreader Frames are proof load tested prior to delivery and supplied with the relevant certification and documentation.
What standards are Modular Spreader Frames designed to?
Modular Spreader Frames are designed and manufactured in accordance with BS EN 13155 and applicable lifting equipment design standards.
Can Modular Spreader Frames be used offshore?
Yes. Modular Spreader Frames are frequently used within offshore, marine, energy and heavy industrial sectors where controlled four-point lifting arrangements are required.
How do I select the correct Modular Spreader Frame?
Selection depends on the load weight, dimensions, lifting centres, centre of gravity, sling arrangement and site conditions. Our engineering team can review your requirements and recommend the most suitable frame configuration.
