What is the MP-300?

The MP-300 is a 10m heavy-lift Multi-Point Lifting Beam rated up to 300 tonnes across its standard load chart. It is intended for demanding lifting operations requiring high-capacity load distribution, with non-standard load configurations reviewed by the Multisec Technical Department.

Heavy-lift beam configuration

10m heavy-lift Multi-Point Beam

The MP-300 is a purpose-designed 10m heavy-lift beam for specialist lifting operations requiring very high capacity and controlled support across multiple lifting points.

Centre Point Lift

Centre Point Lift

The MP-300 is a 10m heavy-lift Multi-Point Beam for specialist lifting operations requiring high-capacity load distribution across multiple lifting points.

  • 10m heavy-lift beam
  • 300 tonne standard load chart
  • Multiple lower lifting points

Final lifting geometry should be checked against the current MP-300 technical data before use.

Spreader Beam Configuration

Spreader Beam Configuration

The MP-300 can be used in spreader arrangements where the approved lifting geometry is covered by the current technical data.

  • High-capacity load distribution
  • Controlled lifting across the load
  • Technical review for other load configurations

For spreader configurations, header slings must not exceed 30° STV. Other load configurations should be referred to the Multisec Technical Department.

Semi-Spreader Configuration

Semi-Spreader Configuration

Semi-Spreader arrangements provide flexibility for specialist heavy-lift geometry where multiple lifting points or offset support are required.

  • Flexible multi-point support
  • Specialist heavy-lift applications
  • Technical review where required

For semi-spreader configurations, header slings must not exceed 30° STV. Other load configurations should be referred to the Multisec Technical Department.

MP-300 FAQs

What is the maximum working load of the MP-300?

The MP-300 is rated to 300 tonnes maximum Working Load Limit. Allowable capacity may reduce depending on the selected span and lifting configuration.

What lifting configurations can be used?

Documented Multi-Point Arrangement.

What span or size is available?

The MP-300 is available up to 10m beam. Allowable capacity depends on the selected span and lifting configuration.

What is the standard beam length of the MP-300?

The MP-300 is a 10m heavy-lift Multi-Point Beam with a 300 tonne standard load chart across the displayed bottom spans from 1m to 10m.

When should an MP-300 arrangement be referred to the technical team?

For load configurations outside the current standard data, contact the Multisec Technical Department before beam selection.

How do I select the correct configuration?

Selection depends on the load, lifting points, span, headroom and rigging arrangement. Discuss the lift with the Multisec team where you need help confirming the correct configuration.
