Heavy-lift model overview

What is the MP-100?

The MP-100 is a higher-capacity Multi-Point Lifting Beam available in 6m and 11.5m beam options. It supports Centre Point, Spreader and Semi-Spreader lifting arrangements, with allowable capacity determined by the selected beam option, span and configuration.

Heavy-lift beam options

Choose the MP-100 beam option

The MP-100 is available in two beam options. Select the beam length first, then use the applicable load chart to confirm the allowable capacity for the required lifting arrangement.

6m

6m Beam Option

Up to 100 tonnes WLL

The supplied 6m load chart lists 100 tonnes Working Load Limit across the displayed bottom spans.

11.5m

11.5m Beam Option

Centre / Spreader / Semi-Spreader

The 11.5m beam supports the three lifting arrangements, with allowable capacity dependent on the selected span and configuration.

The 11.5m Centre Point and Semi-Spreader arrangements reduce in allowable capacity at some longer spans. Use the load charts below for final selection.
Select the lifting configuration

One system. Three lifting arrangements.

Centre Point Lift

Centre Point Lift

The MP-100 can be used in Centre Point configuration where a single upper lifting point suits the lift. The 11.5m Centre Point load chart shows allowable capacity reducing as the selected bottom span increases.

  • 6m beam option available
  • 11.5m Centre Point option available
  • Check the applicable load chart for the required span

Use the model-specific load chart to confirm the allowable Working Load Limit for the selected Centre Point arrangement.

Spreader Beam Configuration

Spreader Beam Configuration

The MP-100 can be rigged as a spreader beam using the designated upper lifting points. The supplied 11.5m spreader chart provides up to 100 tonnes across the displayed matched-span configurations.

  • Controlled two-point lifting
  • 11.5m heavy-lift beam option
  • Matched top and bottom spans

For spreader configurations, header slings must not exceed 30° STV.

Semi-Spreader Configuration

Semi-Spreader Configuration

The Semi-Spreader arrangement provides greater flexibility where the top and bottom lifting geometry differs. Allowable capacity varies with the selected span.

  • Flexible lifting geometry
  • Multiple lower lifting points
  • Capacity varies with selected span

Use the MP-100 Semi-Spreader load chart to confirm the allowable capacity. Header slings must not exceed 30° STV.

Capacity & configuration

MP-100 capacity & configuration

Use the model-specific load charts below to confirm the allowable capacity for the selected heavy-lift beam option, span and lifting arrangement.

Up to 100 tonne Working Load Limit.

Available in 6m and 11.5m beam options.

The 6m configuration provides 100t WLL across the standard load chart.

The 11.5m Centre Point arrangement reduces in capacity as the bottom span increases.

The 11.5m Spreader arrangement provides up to 100t across the standard matched-span configurations.

Semi-Spreader capacity varies with the selected top and bottom span.

For Spreader and Semi-Spreader configurations, header slings must not exceed 30° STV.

Standard forklift pockets aid handling.

MP-100 FAQs

What is the maximum working load of the MP-100?

The MP-100 is rated to Up to 100 tonnes maximum Working Load Limit. Allowable capacity may reduce depending on the selected span and lifting configuration.

What lifting configurations can be used?

Centre Point Lift, Spreader Beam Configuration, Semi-Spreader Beam Configuration.

What span or size is available?

The MP-100 is available up to 11.5m beam option. Allowable capacity depends on the selected span and lifting configuration.

What beam lengths are available for the MP-100?

The MP-100 is available in 6m and 11.5m beam options. Select the beam option first, then use the applicable load chart to confirm the allowable capacity for the required lifting arrangement.

Does the MP-100 provide 100 tonnes at every span?

The supplied 6m load chart lists 100 tonnes across the displayed spans. On the 11.5m beam, allowable capacity depends on the lifting arrangement and selected span, so the applicable load chart must be checked.

How do I select the correct configuration?

Selection depends on the load, lifting points, span, headroom and rigging arrangement. Discuss the lift with the Multisec team where the configuration is not already covered by the current technical documentation.
