34 Tonne Multi-Point Lifting Beam

A higher-capacity modular multi-point lifting beam combining flexible span arrangements with controlled load support across multiple lifting points.

What is the MP-34?
The MP-34 combines a 34 tonne maximum working load with 3m and 6m modular beam sections, allowing standard arrangements up to 12m. It provides Centre Point, Spreader and Semi-Spreader options for lifts requiring higher capacity with flexible load support.
Choose the right Multi-Point Beam
Configure the required span
For the modular MP-34, 3m and 6m beam sections can be assembled into different standard span arrangements. Capacity depends on the selected arrangement and lifting geometry.
Single Beam
3m or 6m single-beam arrangement — 34t WLL.
Two Beam Assembly
3m + 6m arrangement — 9m span, 34t to 21t depending on configuration.
Three Beam Assembly
3m + 6m + 3m arrangement — 12m span, 34t to 13t depending on configuration.
One system. Three lifting arrangements.

Centre Point Lift Configuration
A single central top lifting point is used for compact vertical lifts where the available lifting geometry is straightforward and headroom is limited.
- Compact lifts
- Restricted headroom environments
- Controlled symmetrical handling
This arrangement is typically chosen where a single central top connection suits the load and the lift geometry.

Spreader Beam Configuration
Angled top slings connect to the upper lifting points, creating a spreader arrangement for controlled two-point lifting across the load.
- Improved load stability
- Reduced bending forces
- Suitable for longer spans
This arrangement is selected where controlled support across two primary lift points is required.

Semi-Spreader Configuration
The semi-spreader arrangement adds flexibility where lifting geometry or headroom constraints make a traditional spreader less suitable.
- Offset top lifting points
- Flexible multi-point support
- Useful in restricted spaces
This arrangement helps match the beam to more complex rigging requirements.

MP-34 FAQs
What is the maximum working load of the MP-34?
The MP-34 is rated to 34 tonnes maximum Working Load Limit. Allowable capacity may reduce depending on the selected span and lifting configuration.
What lifting configurations can be used?
Centre Point Lift, Spreader Beam Configuration, Semi-Spreader Beam Configuration.
What span or size is available?
The MP-34 is available up to 12m (3m + 6m + 3m). Allowable capacity depends on the selected span and lifting configuration.
Can the MP-34 be configured to 12m?
Yes. The modular MP-34 can use a 3m + 6m + 3m arrangement to provide a 12m beam configuration. The allowable load depends on the selected top span, bottom span and lifting arrangement, so the applicable load chart must be checked.
Does the MP-34 maintain full WLL at every span?
No. Full Working Load Limit is available in the standard shorter-span arrangements, but allowable capacity reduces in some extended Spreader and Semi-Spreader configurations. Use the load charts above to check the required lifting geometry.
How do I select the correct configuration?
Selection depends on the load, lifting points, span, headroom and rigging arrangement. Discuss the lift with the Multisec team where the configuration is not already covered by the current technical documentation.
