10T Telescopic Spreader Beam Designed for Multi-Span Lifting.
We have designed and manufactured a 10 tonne telescopic spreader beam to support lifting operations requiring multiple span configurations from a single unit.

Across each of the three specified span configurations.
02 / Span configurations 2,500–3,500 mmA closed position of 2,500 mm, extending to 3,000 mm or 3,500 mm.
03 / Adjustment Telescopic designA telescopic tube arrangement with pinned connections.
The requirement
Multiple spans.
One purpose-built beam.
The beam was developed in response to a requirement for increased flexibility on site, where varying lift arrangements would typically require more than one spreader beam.
By incorporating a telescopic design, we provided three span configurations within a single unit. The beam can operate in its closed position or extend to either of the two specified longer spans, depending on the application.
The configuration
Three configurations.
10 tonne working load limit.
This beam maintains a 10 tonne working load limit across each of its specified configurations. Pinned connections allow adjustment between the telescopic positions.
| Configuration | Span | Working load limit |
|---|---|---|
| Closed | 2,500 mm | 10 tonnes |
| Extended | 3,000 mm | 10 tonnes |
| Fully extended | 3,500 mm | 10 tonnes |
These specifications relate to the bespoke beam featured in this project.
Behind the designDesigned around the lifting arrangement.
Alongside span adjustability, attention was given to how this beam behaves under load.
When used in a central lifting configuration, the beam may initially present a degree of tilt due to its geometry. This reduces as load is applied, with the beam stabilising quickly and achieving near-level lifting under typical operating conditions.
The telescopic tube arrangement is designed for use with standard lifting accessories and built to suit demanding operational environments.
