- IN STOCK & Ready to ship worldwide

A 25 tonne modular spreader beam is a below-the-hook lifting device designed to safely distribute loads using adjustable spans and controlled sling angles.
The Multisec Multi-25 modular spreader beam is designed for controlled heavy lifting operations, with a maximum vertical load of 25 tonnes at a standard span of 7.25 metres.
The system can be configured from 1.0 metre to 9.25 metres using interchangeable modular components, with reduced capacity at longer spans.

STV (Sling to Vertical Angle)
The angle between the sling and vertical. This affects the working load limit and must be considered before lifting.
Typical Rigging Setup
Key rigging components for a standard Multi-13 spreader beam configuration.
- Top slings (2-leg): sized to suit working load and sling angle
- Master link / crane hook connection: matched to lifting arrangement
- Top shackle: 9.5 tonne standard bow shackle
- Bottom shackles: 6.5 tonne standard bow shackles
- Drop links: integrated into the beam for load connection
All rigging components must be correctly rated for the lift and used in accordance with the lift plan and certified documentation.

Multi-13 Spreader Beam FAQs
Answers to common questions about capacity, configuration, rigging and certification.
What is the maximum capacity of the Multi-13 spreader beam?
The Multi-13 has a maximum working load limit of 13 tonnes. Capacity varies depending on span and sling angle, so the final configuration should always be checked against certified load data.
How does sling angle affect capacity?
As the sling angle moves further from vertical, the effective working load limit reduces. Lower sling angles generally allow higher lifting capacities across the same span.
What span configurations are available?
The Multi-13 can be configured from 1.0 metres up to 7.75 metres using interchangeable modular strut sections.
What rigging is typically used with the Multi-13?
A typical setup includes two-leg top slings, a master link or crane hook connection, a 9.5 tonne standard bow shackle at the top connection, and 6.5 tonne standard bow shackles at the bottom connection points. Final rigging selection must always be verified against the lift plan.
Is the Multi-13 DNV Type Approved?
Yes. The Multi-13 is part of a DNV Type Approved modular spreader beam system designed for demanding lifting operations.
Can you help with lift planning and configuration?
Yes. Our engineering team can help with beam configuration, rigging guidance and product selection based on your lift requirements.
