10T Telescopic Spreader Beam Designed for Multi-Span Lifting
Multisec has designed and manufactured a 10 tonne telescopic spreader beam to support lifting operations requiring multiple span configurations from a single unit.
The beam was developed in response to a requirement for increased flexibility on site, where varying lift arrangements would typically require more than one spreader beam. By incorporating a telescopic design, the unit can operate in a closed position of 2500mm or be extended to 3000mm and 3500mm depending on the application, while maintaining a 10 tonne working load limit across each configuration .
In addition to span adjustability, attention was given to how the beam behaves under load. When used in a central lifting configuration, the beam may initially present a degree of tilt due to its geometry. This reduces as load is applied, with the beam stabilising quickly and achieving near-level lifting under typical operating conditions .
The telescopic tube arrangement has pinned connections to allow for adjustment between configurations. It is designed for use with standard lifting accessories and built to suit demanding operational environments.
