Multisec Delivers First-Ever 30-Meter Modular Lifting Frame for Scour Protection Installation
Multisec has reached a new milestone in heavy lifting solutions through a recent collaboration with Pipeshield International, showcasing our expertise in modular lifting frames and engineered lifting systems.
What started as a 15-meter lifting frame quickly evolved into something much bigger. On-site constraints meant our design and fabrication teams had to think fast, redesigning and validating a 30-meter modular lifting frame that could install complete rows of scour protection mattresses in a single lift. This innovative approach not only streamlined the operation but also minimized risks and reduced project timelines—a true game-changer for large-scale lifting projects.
Central to the success of this lift were our MultiSec Engineered Lifting Systems modular spreader beams, which ensured precise handling, load stability, and safety across the unprecedented 30-meter span. This project now marks the longest installation of scour protection mattresses in a single lift, demonstrating how bespoke modular lifting frames and engineered lifting solutions can solve complex on-site challenges.
The project also highlights the importance of collaboration and adaptability in the lifting industry. By working closely with Pipeshield International, our teams were able to combine technical expertise with practical insight, delivering a solution that went beyond standard lifting equipment.
